Quinn and Carter kick off the episode by delving into Iowa High School Football as the playoffs coming closer and closer as October has arrived, with Quinn giving his predicted matchups for 4 of Iowa's 5 11-man classes. Focus then shifts to college football as the pair recap a sour weekend at the FBS-level for Iowans with Iowa's loss to #4 Michigan and Iowa State's loss at Kansas, the episode ends with previews for Iowa-Illinois and Iowa State-Kansas State (Farmageddon!!)

Quinn and Carter start the episode out with a bang, discussing an updated Rolling Stone list of the 100 Greatest TV Shows of all-time, and the pair have some opinions (Quinn's being stronger, shocking I know). The two the delve into the recaps of Iowa and Iowa State from Saturday, with Iowa State showing their first signs of weakness offensively, and Iowa's offensive line taking more positive steps. The two then preview Iowa State's matchup with undefeated (!!!) Kansas and Iowa's showdown with #4 Michigan at Kinnick!

Douglas and Copp are back after a couple of wins this weekend from Iowa and Iowa State, Cyclones dominating 43-10 over Ohio and Iowa simply concluding a 7-hour lightning fest with a 27-0 shutout of Nevada. Recaps and previews are given for the teams conference openers this Saturday before the duo reviews Iowa HS football at the halfway point of the regular season, including an extended convo about the joy Quinn has at the revival of his alma mater's football program.

Well, it was a stinker of a Cy-Hawk Game, with Iowa State winning an ugly 10-7 game to snap Iowa's 6-game win streak in the series. Quinn and Carter give their thoughts on the game before Quinn launches into a tirade about Iowa fans whining about Kirk Ferentz and Petras, claiming that "Ferentz has lost it" and "Practice doesn't matter". Things settle down as the two talk about the games coming up this Saturday before ending with Nebraska finally dumping Scott Frost!

An old friend of the program Jared Zieser, a writer for Wide Right Natty Lite, joins the podcast as Hate Week is upon us. Hate Week (at least on social media) appears to be a subdued one for a change, as the trio breaks down Iowa's lethargic offensive performance and equally impressive defensive and special teams performance against South Dakota State, and ISU's teardown of Southeast Missouri State as well. The three then move to matchups to watch in this Saturday's game at Kinnick before giving their final predictions!
