What if the diagnosis doesn't tell the whole story? The Lindsay Clancy case raises difficult questions about mental health, postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, bipolar disorder, hallucinations, medication, and the human mind. So what are we supposed to make of this? We've become very comfortable explaining depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis and other mental health conditions through a purely medical lens, but as Christians, should we be willing to ask whether there can sometimes be a spiritual dimension to what is happening in a person's mind? In this episode, we explore: • The Lindsay Clancy case and the conflicting psychiatric testimony • Postpartum depression vs. postpartum psychosis • How modern mental health diagnoses define depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis and other conditions • What the Bible says about the mind, torment, deception and oppression • Whether some experiences commonly labeled as mental illness can have a spiritual component • The connection between thoughts, hallucinations, influence and the unseen realm • Psychiatric medications and whether altering the brain can create vulnerabilities that deserve spiritual discernment • Why Christians need discernment without automatically labeling every mental health struggle as demonic • How we can approach mental health through the lens of the body, mind and spirit • And ultimately, where we find hope when the mind becomes a battleground ------------------------- *Amy is a Christian counselor - book an appointment: https://www.biblicalguidancecounseling.com/appointments Amy’s online Bible studies: https://rumble.com/c/BibleStudywithEyesontheright?e9s=src_v1_cmd Instagram: @eyesontherightpodcast @eyesontheright

Who Can You Trust Online? In a world where social media can make anyone an overnight authority, how do we know who's teaching biblical truth and who's simply gaining influence? In this episode, I am joined by Rod Smith of Millenial Mustard Seed podcast, we discuss why Scripture commands believers to test every spirit, examine every teacher, and measure every message against God's Word—not popularity, charisma, or compelling testimonies. We cover:Why social media has changed who influences the Church. The rise of ex-occult and New Age influencers—and why testimony alone isn't enough.Red flags to watch for in pastors, podcasters, and Christian influencers. How to develop biblical discernment instead of following personalities. Why this conversation is more important now than ever as deception increases.Key Scriptures: 1 John 4:1, Acts 17:11, Matthew 7:15-23, Galatians 1:8-9, 2 Timothy 4:3-4 If this episode encouraged you, please follow the podcast, leave a review, and share. ------------------------------- Amy is a Christian counselor - book an appointment: https://www.biblicalguidancecounseling.com/appointments Amy’s online Bible studies: https://rumble.com/c/BibleStudywithEyesontheright?e9s=src_v1_cmd Instagram: @eyesontherightpodcast @eyesontheright ------------------- Follow Rod- https://creators.spotify.com/pod/profile/rodney-jay/

SPIRITUAL WARFARE: THE UNSEEN BATTLE There is a spiritual battle happening all around us that we cannot see with our physical eyes—but Scripture tells us it is very real. The Bible says, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood” (Ephesians 6:12). Spiritual warfare is not about fear, superstition, or becoming obsessed with demons. It is about understanding the reality of the spiritual realm, recognizing the enemy’s schemes, standing firm in the authority of Christ, and learning how to fight biblically. In this episode, we’re going deeper into the unseen battle, including: • What spiritual warfare actually is • How the enemy seeks to gain influence and establish strongholds • What Scripture means by “doors” and spiritual access • Legal rights and the biblical basis for understanding them • Deliverance, repentance, and breaking agreement with lies • How believers can stand firm without living in fear The enemy wants you distracted, deceived, divided, and defeated—but Jesus has already won the victory. The goal isn't to fear the darkness. It's to know the authority, truth, and victory we have in Christ. ----------------------------------------- Amy is a Christian counselor - book an appointment: https://www.biblicalguidancecounseling.com/appointments Amy’s online Bible studies: https://rumble.com/c/BibleStudywithEyesontheright?e9s=src_v1_cmd Instagram: @eyesontherightpodcast @eyesontheright

Is the modern narrative surrounding androgyny and gender identity something new—or does it have much older roots? From ancient gods and goddesses to occult traditions, secret societies, symbolism, and modern-day Hollywood… the concept of merging, blurring, or transcending the distinction between male and female has appeared throughout history. So why are we seeing these themes reemerge so strongly today? Is this simply a modern cultural shift—or are we witnessing the revival of something with ancient spiritual and occult roots? In this episode, we’re going deeper into the history, the symbolism, Hollywood’s influence, ancient deities, and what Scripture has to say about the distinction between male and female. The question isn’t just where this narrative is going. The question is: where did it begin? ------------------------------------------- Amy is a Christian counselor - book an appointment: https://www.biblicalguidancecounseling.com/appointments Amy’s online Bible studies: https://rumble.com/c/BibleStudywithEyesontheright?e9s=src_v1_cmd Instagram: @eyesontherightpodcast @eyesontheright

In the End Times, not every voice you hear is trustworthy — who’s influencing you? In this episode, I examine the rise of false Christian influencers, how influence can subtly manipulate thinking, and why truth is often mixed with error. Not every Christian influencer online is teaching biblical truth, and some are misleading others—knowingly or unknowingly. I break down 5 practical warning signs to help identify false teachers, explain how to test the spirits, and discuss why spiritual maturity and renewed thinking take time—especially for those coming out of New Age or occult backgrounds. I also go behind the scenes on how constant online influence shapes belief systems and share practical ways to guard your faith in an increasingly noisy digital world, specifically in these last days the deception will increase. ----------------------------- Amy is a Christian counselor- to book a session: https://www.biblicalguidancecounseling.com Amy’s online Bible studies: https://rumble.com/c/BibleStudywithEyesontheright IG https://www.instagram.com/eyesontherightpodcast/?hl=en IG https://www.instagram.com/eyesontheright4.0/?hl=en https://theanastasiaco.com - Faith based company (gifts/apparel) CODE: EYESONTHERIGHT https://convictionco.com - Faith based bold apparel CODE: EYESONTHERIGHT
