Bonus episode with Nick Tokman (@nicktokman). If you’ve ever seen the show Deadliest Catch, chances are you’ve seen Nick “Sunshine” Tokman on the Time Bandit. After a few seasons on the show, Nick pivoted to pursue his dream of becoming a public speaker. Back in January, I was lucky enough to spend a day with Nick at his home in northern Connecticut to learn what a day in the life of a youth speaker is like when not on stage changing the lives of young people. I learned so much from him - he’s been in the business for more than seven years now and has created success for himself and loves what he does. I can’t thank Nick enough for taking the time to teach me first hand and to sit down and chat about his career and his relationship to technology, social media, and distractions in the car.
