How do you read the Bible? For many people reading the Bible is difficult and seem more like a chore than wonderful trip down God's highway. For many reading the Bible has become a thing they think they have to do rather than something they want to do.  In order to be a successful Christian we need to know what God says about a successful life and His instruction manual is His Word. All the answers to a great life are in His Word, we just need to know where to look. Today we take a look at studying  Health (or healing) from God's perspective and see what he has to say. The great thing about God's Word is that it is complete, all the answers are there you just need to know where to look.

I'm afraid someday I'm going to get to heaven someday and have a bad case of FOMO(Fear of Missing Out) realized to become IDMO(I did miss out) because I was afraid to step out and meet God. I'll never forget that moment in the first Indiana Jones movie where the bad guy is talking excitedly about the Ark of the Covenant because with it you can talk to God! Guess what? We don't need the Ark to talk to God because the blood of Jesus built the bridge to the throne room of God. Hebrews 4:16 tells us we can confidently come to the throne of Grace and receive His mercy. That is the power of prayer! 

Today James and I want to share with you how we see the power and idea of prayer. Come boldly to God, praise His holy name with thanksgiving and ask in the name of Jesus. Stop believing that you're not good enough or that God is too busy to listen to you. Nothing could be further from the truth and always remember that the truth (Jesus) is what sets us free. 

It's one thing to be READY as we learned last week but it's another thing to being WILLING. God wants you to want to be with Him. You and I need to be WILLING to do the things necessary to be the person God wants us to be. We need to say YES to GOD and then take any and all steps necessary to follow Him.
