God used Ezekiel to warn Israel of the coming judgment because of their sinful rebellion against Him. He sought for a man to stand in the breach of the moral depravity that infected Israel. While America is not Israel nor the promise land. We too are infected with moral decline and wickedness inside and outside the church. God is seeking those who would stand in the breach.
