Though the central focus for Ezra International is always Aliyah, the organization could not ignore the plight and trauma of the street children of Kiev.  Vera and her team intervenes to provide school supplies, boots, jackets, food and a safe place for children whose parents are alcoholics, drug addicts, violent or in crisis.  The war with Russia has compounded the problems.  Tune in to learn of the heart break, hope and victories of this humanitarian work of God.

Ezra International began working in Georgia in 2014, and since then Givi’s indigenous team of Christians has helped thousands of impoverished Jewish people gather documents, fill out paperwork and help cover their expenses so that they could make Aliyah.  Prior to his full-time work with Ezra, Givi served in the Finance Ministry for the Country of Georgia.

By Western standards, Georgia is a poor country filled with good people who face many hardships.  Then last year, Russia, who shares a border with Georgia, went to war with Ukraine.  This increased tension at Georgia’s border as well as created an intense refugee situation.  Layers of challenges confront Jewish families – both the refugees and those in the country - who want to make their home in Israel.  Ezra International’s man, Givi, has been called by God to help them.  Tune in to better understand the situation and to know how to pray for the work and people in Georgia.

Pat’s work with Aliyah began 30 years ago as she prayed for Jewish Refuseniks in the former Soviet Union. Until recently, she served as the Field Director of Ezra International for Europe and South America and directed Ezra UK. Now, with the passing of Mel Hoelzle, Pat is the President and CEO of the largest Christian organization that works with Aliyah.

Like Moses to Joshua and Elijah to Elisha, there was another significant torch-passing this summer with Ezra International. Mel Hoelzle, Founder and President of the Aliyah organization for a quarter century, made his Aliyah to his heavenly home on June 4th, 2022.  He was ready; he had asked Pat to take the leadership of Ezra and the board approved unanimously. Watch to hear her story and learn of the extraordinary work of God in our day, bringing His people Israel home!
