Our Prime Minister has run away from his responsibility and is hiding out until January 27 to “reflect on his own future as leader” as the Trump 25% tariff freight train hits Canada on January 20. The Trudeau finance minister dropped a scathing resignation letter blaming him for the financial issues facing Canada and for misleading Canadians, on the day she was supposed to table and read the budget, throwing Trudeau’s government into chaos and Canada’s future into uncertainty. Trudeau adjourned Parliament to hide from the crisis, a crisis which is existential for Canada’s economy. I can’t take it anymore. Trudeau needs to call an election immediately, but he won’t do that because he thinks only he can save Canada.

Meanwhile, Doug Ford, Ontario’s premier, is the apparent spokesman for a herd of Canadian premiers who have stepped into the political vacuum to deal with the USA. Just wait till Tom Homan discovers the Doug Ford history with illegal drugs, as reported by the Globe and Mail. What will happen to Ontario then?

The US is rightly focused on the importation of illegal drugs and Doug Ford is not the person to be negotiating ANYTHING around that file for Ontario or for Canada.
