Mindfulness is a multi-billion dollar industry that's taking the world, boardroom, classroom, and home by storm. Everyone is starting to focus on transcendence, higher realms, and spiritual entities. The higher you can go, the better you can be. Right?! A darker side of mindfulness is starting to show otherwise - as folks are showing signs of psychotic breaks after years in lotus positions. Destined love. Fated. Divine-ordained. Or completely delusional? What happens when we attach ourselves to stories and allow false programs to run us through numerous pain loops in the name of love? After many years of being indoctrinated deeply into the twin flame program, I too found myself acting out of character and sacrificing so much of myself for something that I believed (at the time) to be divine. The problem with this line of thinking is the fact that I was digging a hefty trench within the chaos realm. I was labeling something holy that was merely hell - disguised. Been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt factory??! Then, buckle up and get ready as we dive in to the twin flame trap.

In a world that tells women that our value can be found between our legs, what happens when our spiritual sanctuary starts to feed us the same message? If we look to many cults out in the world, the theme of overly sexualizing women becomes a common theme. From having a plethora of attractive people around during orientation-type meetings to being indoctrinated into the belief that you must earn your space in the group through means of your body. Sex isn't a new concept when it comes to gaining power, prestige, or acknowledgment in this world. And, no matter how much the New Age tries to dress it up as freedom...is it really the key to liberating yourself?
