Childhood friend, little big brother and all around one of my favorite people on planet Earth is F. Timothy Foley. We have known each other since The Little School days which was pre-kindergarten in Westchester New York. One of the most challenging things in long term friendship is watching the other person self destruct in from of your very eyes. Tim watched as I lost everything through the 2000's until I sought help.
I brought my wife Chelsea back to my hometown for the 2016 marathon and went to visit Tim at his bartending job. It was so good to see him but could tell something was not right and he wasn't the same Tim. He acted it out well but the light was gone in his eyes. After spending some time we left and it brought tears to my eyes as I told Chelsea that would probably be the first and last time she would see Tim. His life was going nowhere, was unhappy and in full blown addiction to drugs and alcohol.
A few months later I got a call from a mutual friend who had flown Tim down to Florida to get his life together and was told he's all yours and it was a blessing in disguise. From a disheveled, long haired, frail drug addict to today is an absolute miracle. After several months of him fighting the process he gave in and gave sobriety a chance. His charming personality, ability to talk to anyone and his stubbornness allowed him to transform his life into what it is today. He has embraced life, become a willing participant in helping those less fortunate and found his true calling in the Treatment Industry where he is irreplaceable. He is my brother, friend and I'm grateful to have him in my life. Please enjoy the show and follow him on @f_t_82 on instagram to see what he's up to.
