配音解说:陈飞扬
Respectable experts!
I am Wang Shijie, a student of EDBA 2018 class of Montpellier University.
My French supervisor is Professor Sylvie SAMMUT, and my Chinese supervisor is Professor Gu Qingliang. The title of my research is: Research on the Construction of GIU Triple Helix Model and Role of Universities Based on Innovation GrowthTheory.
Since 1982, I have worked in the Academic Affairs Office of Anhui University, a member of China’s construction plan of world-class universities and first-class disciplines. Since 1991, I have managed the two universities I founded, one is a full-time ordinary university --- Hefei Information Technology University; the other is Anhui Shijie Computer Specialized University.
Shijie is my name. At present, I am the president of the two universities, the academic member of Sino-German Vocational Education Alliance (Tongji University) and the vice chairman of Higher Education Management Branch (Tsinghua University) of China Higher Education Association. For more than 40 years, I have been engaged in the practice and research of higher education management.
This thesis is based on my management practice and previous research.
Now I’m going to report from the following six aspects:
1. Research background and research problem
2. Theoretical basis and research design;
3. Model construction;
4. Case study;
5. Management practice;
6. Conclusions and prospects.
I.Research background and research questions
Innovation is an important source of economic growth and the first driving force to lead economic development.
The benign interaction among government, industry and universities is not only the key to innovation, but also an inexhaustible motive force for economic growth and social development.
Innovation requires the joint participation of government, industry and universities. GIU triple helix interaction has become the core power of innovation system operation. With the fourth industrial revolution superimposing a new round of economic cycle, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is reconstructing the global innovation map and reshaping the global economic structure. The world has entered a period of innovation outbreak and economic cycle superimposition. There are many patents in China, but the quality is not high;Patent conversion rate is very low, especially in universities;
Basic research has made progress, but there is still a big gap
with the world advanced level; China has made breakthroughs
in the research and application of deep science and technology
(such as quantum technology and 5G). Some enterprises are at
the forefront of innovation, but there is still a gap between key
core technologies and the world advanced level.
These new problems and new phenomena can no longer be
explained by GIU Triple Helix Model, let alone by the simple
triple combination of GIU.
How can we better promote the triple helix interaction
among government, industry and universities, and promote
scientific and technological innovation and economic growth?
How can we give full play to the role of universities in
economic and social development? Based on Schumpeter’s
innovation theory of business cycle and Romer’s endogenous
economic growth theory, it is of great significance to build GIU Triple HelixModel based on innovation growth theory
