On this Memorial Day, we remember those service men & women, as well as First Responders, that gave their lives protecting us and giving us this great nation.

There is audio that highlights moments of America's history and what the sacrifices have been made to protect.

There is audio from the best thing Disney does, everyday, to honor the men & women of all branches of the services.

Thank you, again, to all of those that gave their all overseas or here at home in protecting this great nation and their families as well.

Memorial day is right around the corner and the Navigators are discussing summer at Walt Disney World.

 

Sean, Sue, and Keith discuss various summer topics including how hot it really gets, how to stay cool, coolers in the parks and the best places to find shade.  They even discuss where the kids can get wet in the parks and it’s more than just Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids.

 

Sean, Sue and Keith also discuss how touring the parks changes in the summer and see if Sean’s “Commando” approach to touring the Magic Kingdom still works with the summer crowds.

 

This is followed by Susie Q’s Fastpass to the News.  The news includes a lengthy discussion about all of the new exciting attractions/shows

coming to Walt Disney World this summer.  This is followed by speculation on why certain attractions are being refurbished this summer and what changes are being made.

 

Find out if Sean is a big fan of Animal Kingdom and where you can find the chemical formulas for Ketchup, Mustard and Mayonnaise on an attraction while visiting this park.

The WDW Navigators

In this exploratory episode, we discuss the soon to be released "Finding Dory" and some facts about the behind-the-scenes that went into the movie. We also learn more than we should about clownfish and blue tangs. Sorry for all of the factual, well uh, facts.

We then touch on the next big live-action film, "Through the Looking Glass". Jana fills us in on what it is like to walk the real red carpet, which of her kids is the superhero nerd and what its like to spend time with a star.

Lastly, in keeping with the theme of the show and our show itself, we each name our 3 favorite movie inspired/themed attractions.

Ep 52 The Disney Bucket List

Have you ever made a Disney Bucket List of things that you want to see at the Magic Kingdom?

Well, our guest on Ep 52 seasoned Disney World Veteran John Donahue has done that and has even wrote a book about it called The Disney Bucket List.  John is one of the hosts from the Disney Parks Podcast and we get to learn about John’s love for Disney and how he incorporates into his daily life.

We then dive into The Disney Bucket List book discussing how you can find little hidden gems int he Magic Kingdom. It is a great book that a veteran or first timer can use to experience the real magic of the Magic Kingdom. The Disney Bucket List book has 100  concise and interactive “adventures” so you can pick and choose your own adventure. There is a check box so you check off your accomplishments along the way. The Navigators even discuss their own buckets lists and what till you hear what is on Sean’s list.

On this week’s episode, we have a limited Navigator crew of Sean and Keith, so we bring on Kevin, Danny and Eli from the Magic Our Way podcast to help out. We discuss Keith’s recent trip to New Orleans where he met up with the Magic Our Way podcast guys.

Get ready to hear about all the debauchery of drinking, food, partying and podcasting that you can expect being in the Big Easy. We found out that there is more to New Orleans then just Bourbon Street!! We wish Danny a belated birthday, with Susie Q gives Danny a special birthday wish. As always, we then have Susie Q Fastpass to the News.

We finish up the episode with a “Lightening Round’ of Disney World questions to Keith and the Magic Our Way guys which turns out to be a hilarious conversation with some surprising answers. Not to spoil anything, but wait till you hear the answers to the attraction that best represents Keith. We even throw in wresting talk in the midst of the Lightening Round.
