If your religion doesn't work in your house, don't export it. But even more importantly, lets make sure we know what "working" means...

I have so much truth in my head; I struggle with speaking it in love. So what good is it to know all this "stuff" if I choose not to communicate it in love. I'd be better off to keep my mouth shut, confess my sin, repent, then speak the truth with grace and mercy. If you're like me, can relate. You know exactly what's wrong with your spouse, but you can't seem to speak the truth in love. It's time my friend. It's time to get yourself surrounded in Christ-centered community and figure out whats at the root of that evil hypocritical behavior.

Handling bullies goes way beyond knowing what to say and do; its about seeing the situation from God's perspective.

The most important question for the freedom of all believers...

For all of us who struggle with forgiveness...

How are we to pray without ceasing? This has always seemed like a daunting task that ends with frustration and quitting followed by another try followed by another epic fail. But I think this is finally clear to me. Now that I can see all of my sin, I find it easy to pray without ceasing.

What do tiny particles of pride turn into...big piles of stink in the end. What if I took the little?subtle sins seriously by exposing them as if they were poisonous for my soul? Maybe some big fights would be nipped in the bud.

What if we simply looked at evil and said, "no thanks." What if there were no more excuses and nobody "made me" do anything evil, but rather it was a choice...and now I simply just choose not to do evil things. And what if I simply chose to search my heart every time I saw evil in my life to the point where I could target the root cause, expose that sucker and kill it? Wouldn't that be amazing? So, Father, I choose today to say goodbye to evil and yes to you. Amen.

How do you respond to people who are erudite in Theology? I start to show my need for my Savior by confessing my sins and boasting in my weaknesses. The cultists or "theologians" can either get on board and join the "I need God club" or they can continue to hide behind their dogmatism. Give it enough time and they won't be able to endue the weight of that silliness.
