FABIC Sermons

We know the story of the wise men all too well. The star, the long camel ride, the three gifts. But a very important part of the story has to do with changing their minds about something important. Join us as we explore the reason and the result and how changing your mind can be a good thing.

What do you say to God when He calls you to “go”? The shepherds in the nativity story made a choice to obey. Join us as we see the outcome of their decision and how we can see God’s work in our lives when we answer His call.

When Joseph found out Mary was pregnant, and he knew it certainly wasn’t his child, he chose to follow a path that was the opposite of the one his friends and family would have expected, maybe even insisted on. Have you ever tried to muscle it? To try to force something to happen? In Golf, it usually means slicing the ball into the rough or hooking it somewhere else you don’t want it, like into a water hazard. The same is true in our spiritual lives. Join us as we look at the difference between trying to live by our own strength and living in God’s power.

Join us as we join in prayer with Christians around the world for the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians. This special day is set aside as a global prayer meeting on behalf of persecuted Christians who stand as a bold witness to Christ on the world’s most dangerous mission frontiers. The earnest prayers of the global body of believers testify to the unity found only in Christ. May God inspire us as we enter into fellowship with our persecuted Christian family.
