In this first episode we take a look at a short story titled The Runaway Shadows. This story is by L. Frank Baum the writer of The Wizard of Oz. In the story Jack Frost freezes a pair of shadows which allows them to pull free of their owners. It doesn't take long for the shadows to realize they liked being attached. Published in 1901 this story is in the public domain.
