Facca Audio Presents | From the Top

This week, Lloyd and I had a great conversation with our friend Curtis Korchniski! Curtis's vibe is unmatched and he's always a great hang. You'll see in this episode that Lloyd couldn't get enough of him, and I'm sure you'll feel the same!

My guest this week is my friend Damon Tupper! Damon is a killer drummer, though his playing doesn't hold a candle to his wit. He's always a fun hang and a great quarterback to have at the back of the stage. Which, conveniently, is where he belongs. In case you haven't noticed, sarcasm is the root of our friendship, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I hope you enjoy my conversation with Damon as much as I did.

My friend Myles Myrol has guitar cables which have spent more time on stage than most of us. From countless shows with The Myrol Brothers, Lisa Moen and many others, Myles has seen it all. He gives some great advice which extends to absolutely anyone, not just musicians.
Myles is the friendliest musician you'll meet and is always up for coffee and a good conversation, so I'm glad we recorded this one.

I had a great conversation with my friend Mike Given. Mike is the definition of a seasoned professional, having toured, taught and played music for a living for years. We get into playing shows, train wrecks, a bit of guitar gear and Mike gives some of the best advice any young musician could hope for.

Welcome to From the Top. A show where I talk to musicians about how they got started and their journey to where they are today. We'll cover things like their first instruments, first bands and the best gigs they've played, along with the train wrecks.

We hope to give advice to young musicians through mistakes we've made, some "do and don'ts" in the industry and provide some light-hearted entertainment for anyone interested in music.
