In December 1976, the remains of a pregnant teenage girl were discovered inside three suitcases along Pennsylvania’s Lehigh River. For more than four decades, she was known only as “Beth Doe.”
In this episode of Face Not Found, we restore the name she was denied for 44 years: Evelyn Colón. We examine Evelyn’s life, her relationship with Luis Sierra, the investigation that finally identified her through genetic genealogy, and the murder charges that followed. This is the story of a 15-year-old Puerto Rican girl—and her unborn daughter—who deserved to be remembered by more than a haunting nickname.

When successful businesswoman and devoted mother Andreen McDonald suddenly disappeared from her San Antonio home, the person responsible believed there would be no body—and therefore no case.
But Andreen’s loved ones immediately knew something was wrong. Suspicion soon fell on her husband, Andre McDonald, whose behavior, conflicting explanations, and disturbing statements raised serious questions about what happened inside their home.
In this episode of Face Not Found, we examine Andreen’s life, the troubled marriage hidden behind the couple’s success, the evidence uncovered during the investigation, the discovery that finally brought answers, and the controversial verdict that left many questioning whether justice was truly served.
This is the story of Andreen McDonald—a mother, entrepreneur, and woman whose identity deserves to be remembered far beyond the man who took her life.
She was 25 years old. A former beauty queen. A beloved teacher. A devoted Catholic whose faith shaped every part of her life.
On Easter weekend in 1960, Irene Garza walked into church for confession... and never came home.
Five days later, her body was discovered in a remote canal outside McAllen, Texas. She had been brutally assaulted and murdered. The prime suspect was someone the community trusted without question—a Catholic priest.
For decades, rumors spread, witnesses stayed silent, and justice seemed impossible. It would take more than half a century before Irene's family finally saw the legal system acknowledge what they had believed all along.
In this episode of Face Not Found, we separate fact from myth, examine the official investigation, court records, and witness testimony, and tell the story of a woman whose life deserves to be remembered for far more than the crime that ended it.
Because every victim deserves to have their name spoken.
Sources include: Court records, law enforcement documents, historical newspaper archives, and official public records.
