HOW TO USE
Go to the News Feed, and tap the "Live" option denoted by the camcorder icon.
Give Facebook access to your camera and microphone when prompted.
Choose your privacy setting.
Write a compelling description.
Tag friends, choose your location, or add an activity.
Set up your camera view.
Add lenses, filters, or writing and drawing to your video.
 
 
Nervous?
Try going LIVE using the ‘Only Me’ option
 
 
Don’t worry about mistakes or things that you dislike about yourself!

Basics
Set a great title and description. ALWAYS
You can add a link to the description later to a group that you have asked them to join
 
Go live from your personal page. Not a business page. You can always share to your business page later.
 
Go live anytime you are doing an event for your business or brand
 
Focus on good lighting. Get a light or face a window!Natural light always looks amazing!
 
Be vulnerable. Show emotion. Use your hands if possible. Smile
Bring great energy!
 
Ask for interaction. Drop emojis for agreements.
 
Continue to use your GREAT videos for a long time by bumping them
 
 
Set a goal
What do you want to achieve with your live?
Stay live for at least 10 minutes

They might not be able to follow what you are saying
Periodically recap as you go, to help save these viewers from confusion
‘If you are just now joining us, we have been talking about (recap).
This will keep viewers who do not know what you are talking about
 
Do people ask you to be notified of when you go live?
Press the ‘Live Subscribe’ button on your video to receive notifications when you are live
They can go to your facebook profile
Click the notifications button under your cover photo
Press the edit options pencil button
Turn on notifications under ‘Live Videos’ for ‘All Live Posts’
 
Add an ‘Ask’ or Call to action
This is the best chance of generating an immediate return
You can add an ‘ask’ at the end, or sporadically through the video.
 
You can also ask for likes, shares, comments
