Sarah Rose Cavanagh is a psychologist, professor, and Senior Associate Director for Teaching and Learning at Simmons University, where she teaches classes on affective science and mental health, researches the intersections of emotion, motivation, and learning, and provides educational development for faculty.

Suparna Mukhopadhyay, FACET Class of 2022, Lecturer of Biology at IU Southeast.

Janet Decker, FACET Class of 2022, Associate Professor of Education at IU Bloomington. She primarily researches legal and policy issues in special education, but also studies the legal literacy of educators and administrators.

Hannah Haas, FACET Class of 2022, Senior Lecturer in English at IUPUI. Her academic interests include designing instructional materials that help students and employees move beyond the fundamentals to become skilled, sophisticated, persuasive writers.

Andrew Swain, FACET of 2023, Assistant Professor of Business Law at IU South Bend. His research interests include State and local tax overlap and interact with International Tax, and the interplay between tax and corporate social responsibility.

Maureen Rutherford, FACET Class of 2020, Chair and Associate Professor of Psychology. Her research lab studies the impact of drugs and environmental stressors on the physiological and behavioral expression of stress responses in the zebrafish (Danio rerio) model.

Niki Weller, FACET Class of 2021, Associate Professor of Sociology at IU Kokomo. Her research is to better understand how sociodemographics influence an adolescent’s exposure to, or protection from, deviant behaviors, with a particular emphasis on risky behaviors such as drug use/abuse and sexual health behaviors.

Allen Davis, FACET Class of 2021, is a Teaching Professor and the Director of the Basic Language Program in Spanish. His research interests lie in phonetics and phonology, especially the role of musical aptitude in pronunciation learning and individual differences in language acquisition. He earned both his Ph.D. and M.A. in Spanish Linguistics at Pennsylvania State University, and B.A. in Spanish at IUPUI.

Jason Organ, FACET Class of 2021, is an Associate Professor of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology at the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis. His research examines how the structure of bone and muscle influences how they work. He earned his PhD in Functional Anatomy & Evolution from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and MA in Anthropology from the University of Missouri.

Shelly Burns, FACET Class of 2023, is a Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing and Health Sciences at IU East. Her current teaching interests include building first-year nursing students classroom and clinical experiences through simulations. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from IUPUI, Master of Science in Nursing Education from Ball State University, and Bachelor of Nursing from IU East.
