Life is filled with darkness, but recognizing evil points us toward absolute good and God's existence. Satan operates through three main tactics: tempting us through physical desires, material pursuits, and pride; accusing us with guilt and shame; and attacking us through various afflictions. However, we can resist darkness by being filled with the Holy Spirit, using God's Word as our weapon, prioritizing prayer, and maintaining availability to help others. Many believers carry lies that Satan has planted, creating limiting beliefs about their worth and potential. The key to overcoming darkness isn't fighting it directly, but walking in the light Jesus provides and knowing His character through Scripture.
