Story Transcript:

Ar: وقفت ليلى تتأمل السماء الداكنة فوق آثار البتراء الشهيرة.
En: ليلى stood contemplating the dark sky above the famous ruins of Petra.

Ar: كانت الرياح تعصف بقوة، وتحاول الأمطار إخفاء الألوان الحمراء الزاهية للجدران الصخرية.
En: The wind was blowing fiercely, and the rain was attempting to obscure the bright red colors of the rock walls.

Ar: شعرت ليلى بقلبها ينبض بشدة وهي تلتفت لتبحث عن أختها وصديقها.
En: ليلى's heart was pounding as she turned to search for her sister and her friend.

Ar: كان عليهم أن يجدوا آمينة قبل حلول الظلام.
En: They needed to find آمينة before darkness fell.

Ar: انتشر الغبار والرمال في الهواء، فاختفت رؤيتهم تقريبًا.
En: Dust and sand filled the air, almost obscuring their vision.

Ar: نادي فارس، "ليلى! أين أنت؟" لكن صوته ضاع في ضجيج العاصفة.
En: فارس called out, "ليلى! Where are you?" But his voice was lost in the noise of the storm.

Ar: كانت ليلى تخاف الظلام، لكنها لم تجرؤ على التوقف الآن.
En: ليلى was afraid of the dark, but she didn't dare to stop now.

Ar: عليها أن تجد آمينة.
En: She had to find آمينة.

Ar: بدأت تتذكر المكان الذي مروا به سابقًا، حجر ضخم يحمل نقشًا قديمًا.
En: She began to recall the place they had passed earlier, a massive stone bearing an ancient inscription.

Ar: مع كل خطوة تخطوها، تسترجع ليلى صوت آمينة وهي تضحك.
En: With every step she took, ليلى remembered آمينة's laughter.

En: She imagined her gingerly and fearlessly navigating the rocks.

Ar: همست ليلى لنفسها، "لعلها اتجهت إلى المَعْلَم الذي كنا نعرفه."
En: ليلى whispered to herself, "Perhaps she headed towards the landmark we knew."

Ar: سارت ليلى بين الأزقة الضيقة والتلال الرملية المنحدرة.
En: ليلى walked through the narrow alleys and sloping sand hills.

Ar: فجأة، توقفت ونظرت إلى الأرض، ورأت خريطة محفورة على صخرة كبيرة.
En: Suddenly, she stopped and looked down at the ground, seeing a map engraved on a large rock.

Ar: كانت مغطاة بالتراب، لكنها استطاعت تمييز مسار مألوف يؤدي إلى المَعْلَم.
En: It was covered with dirt, but she could distinguish a familiar path leading to the landmark.

Ar: قلبها اخضرّ بالأمل.
En: Her heart filled with hope.

Ar: بصوت مرتجف لكنها مليئة بالعزيمة، نادت ليلى بصوت مرتفع، "آمينة! أين أنت؟"
En: With a trembling voice but filled with determination, ليلى called out loudly, "آمينة! Where are you?"

Ar: فجأة، سمعت صوت صديقتها يأتي من جهة الشرق.
En: Suddenly, she heard her friend's voice coming from the east.

Ar: تتبعت الصوت ووجدت آمينة جالسة في مخبأ صغير، تحتمي من العاصفة.
En: She followed the sound and found آمينة sitting in a small shelter, taking cover from the storm.

Ar: التقيا بابتسامات واسعة ودموع مختلطة بالمطر.
En: They met with wide smiles and tears mixed with rain.

Ar: كانت آمينة ترتجف قليلاً لكنها آمنة.
En: آمينة was shivering slightly but was safe.

Ar: معا، بدأتا تناديان بصوت عالٍ لفارس، الذي ما لبث حتى ظهر، متعبًا لكنه مرتاح لرؤيتهما بسلام.
En: Together, they began calling out loudly for فارس, who soon appeared, tired but relieved to see them safe.

Ar: معًا، سلكوا الطريق عائدين إلى نقطة البداية، بينما بدأت العاصفة تهدأ ببطء.
En: Together, they took the path back to the starting point as the storm began to slowly subside.

Ar: أدركت ليلى أنها غلبت خوفها من الظلام.
En: ليلى realized she had overcome her fear of the dark.

Ar: كان هذا يومًا لن تنساه، يوم أثبتت فيه أن بإمكانها مواجهة الشدائد بثقة وجرأة.
