Bob is a training captain for special operations in emergency medicine and has been a paramedic, EMT, and rescue medic since 1995. He has been through several natural disasters and discusses a few stories that contributed to his PTSD. As he talks about the symptoms that led him to his darkest days, he also discusses programs that helped him through. This is his story of recovery.
We all hear stories of trauma on the front lines, but what is the healing process like after the trauma? How do you deal with the darkness, pain, emotions, broken homes, and night terrors?
In this podcast, Hayley Adams and Antonio Santana interview first responders: nurses, doctors, firefighters, EMT, police men and women, dispatchers, veterans, and military members to share not only stories of trauma on the front lines, but the coping skills they have learned to help manage their lives in a healthy way. Share this out to the world, it's our mission to create a community of first responders to help spread healing. One community, one mission. Join our community on IG and Facebook!
