Factory Church

There’s a time for talking and a time for action. And that distinction makes all the difference.

We are joined in this message by guest speaker, Ian Montalto — Factory Church’s Youth Director. As Ian takes us through all the amazing things our youth ministry has done over recent weeks and months, he paints one distinct picture: NONE of it would be possible if someone had not moved toward someone else they saw in need.

The Church is not called to be a country club; it is called to be a hospital for those desperately seeking a Savior!

So today we say we’ve had enough talk! It is time to MOVE on behalf of our children! Our families! Our friends! Our neighbors! Even our enemies! Our God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, so we can BOLDLY say He is our helper! And so we can move with confidence toward the mission we’ve been given: to make disciples from here to the ends of the earth!

We might not run into danger for someone else... But we always hope someone will do so for us.

In this First Responder Sunday message, Pastor Andy Williamson sits down with fireman, Jacob Wilburn. Together, they discuss the heart of a first responder, and just how closely it mirrors the heart of the greatest first responder to ever live: Jesus Christ.

No matter your age, race, past, or financial status, a first responder‘s only thought is to save your life. So is Jesus’.

So today we honor those who risk their lives every day to keep us safe, as well as the One who paid it ALL so we could live eternally! It’s through His spirit that our hearts catch fire. But not a fire to destroy; a fire to make NEW!

Let this be your day for rescue! And let the greatest first responder ever reach out His hand to pull you up!

There comes a time when you’re done with the ordinary. When you’re worn out from going through the motions.

And if that’s where you are right now, this message is for you.

“How are you doing?”

“I’m fine, and you?”

That’s usually where the conversation ends. But are we doing fine, REALLY?

So it’s no wonder Jesus said that “of such is the Kingdom of God!”

So remember the faith of your youth, Factory! Leave behind the brokenness and shame that try to tell you you’re not good enough… Simply run to the arms of the Father ready to brush you off and set you on your feet again!

And remember: trusting Jesus was never meant to be complicated. All it takes is the faith of a child!

They say to come boldly before God’s throne… But why should we?

Because…we BELONG there!

No one likes going through tough times... And that’s why most of us miss out on the blessings God is trying to give us through them.
