Seasons are funny. When you are in the middle of one that becomes a challenge, we often look for ways to get out of that season and into a new one, only to find out that another challenge is around the corner.

What if God was working through our seasons to not only teach us something very valuable, but to possibly even prepare us for the next season in life.

We had a special service on Sunday, March 11. Pastor Robbie McLaughlin of Hope City Church in Charlotte joined us as our special guest with Andy Williamson from Factory. Together they taught on stage, which ended in a fun and relatable message on Seasons and the importance of them.

One great takeaway was this: the size of our current environment will dictate and ultimately limit our potential for growth. This is why it's so crucial to be willing to be uprooted from current familiarity and to move into a new season, no matter how uncomfortable that process may be, in order to facilitate growth in our lives.

God wants us to live a courageous life, moving forward with purpose. He presents trials in life, all in preparation for the journey
He is taking us on. We can’t see the future, and at times the fear of the unknown produces a sense of deep concern or anxiety.

Andy Williamson guides us through Joshua 1:1-9, the journey of Joshua being an assistant. Yet, God was raising him up to be a leader! Andy also walks us through Ephesians 1:15-23 to show us God's wisdom.

It’s the small things in life that are equipping us for the big times ahead.

Having needs will always be a part of life. At times, we encounter great needs, which could potentially push us to despair. Andy Williamson helps take us through a special passage that deals with this exact topic. Andy also shows how God doesn’t want to simply satisfy a need, but how He wants to fulfill those needs far and above our desires.

Andy takes us through 2 Kings 4:1-7 and examines this incredible miracle that gives us hope for our needs, no matter the challenges we are facing.

And this isn't just any help, but the help that only God can provide as He has proven time and time again that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

This is part 5 and the finale of our Trading My Giants series at Factory Church.

The giants in our lives will never go away, but we know that God will use them to help equip us for great victories throughout our life. Andy Williamson teaches us that we are limited if we go to battle our giants with our own resources, but, with God on our side, we can rely on His never-ending resources when we face our giants.

The question is, can God use you to fight the good fight? Do you have what it takes to not only face your giants, but to also help others face theirs? Andy helps show the answer to that as a very loud "YES" to both!

Jesus walked, lived with and loved the normal, everyday person. This person is the one who seeks Him and relies on His great resources. That means you and me.

With God….nothing is impossible!

There's no way to avoid the giants that we will face throughout our lives. The best way to face these giants is to be prepared for them.

God has a plan for your life. He’s for you and He wants to be there with you to help you through the challenges that you will face.

Before David met Goliath, God had already allowed him to be faced with other challenges in life that purposefully helped to equip him for his insurmountable challenge against the giant.

Due to the challenges that God allowed him to face, David was equipped to move with faith as he battled his giant. And we will see how this same process is working in and for us right now in order to prepare us for the challenges of life.

Sometimes we face challenges that hold us back from our true potential or from the dreams that God places in our hearts. God wants us to be the best, most unique us that He has so wonderfully and purposefully created.
