Sometimes in life we get to a point where we want to give up, and as a creative if you haven't said "f this I ain't doing this no more" I don't know if I can trust you. I want to be as honest as possible when it comes to my personal life, professional life, and creative life. I really wanted to take a break from doing the show because lets be honest, I wasn't feeling it. Over the weekend Facts of Life hosted our first networking event/meetup in Houston for female creatives and that interaction gave me the motivation to keep going. Thank you ladies! Lets talk about breaking the cycle this week and being the bigger person, I'm working through both of these things as we speak lol.

I didn't have much to talk about this week, but I did want to let ya'll know how I'm living my best life and continuing my growth to be a better human being.

I love you but I love me more! And I love me enough to let you go because you are no longer serving a purpose in my life, that goes for friends and FAMILY. Family is tough because these are the first people that we connect with when we are bought into this world. Understand none of that matters when you are trying to be the best version of YOU!

Also, this past week was 4th of July and a moor woman decided to sit on top of the statue of liberty to free all the immigrant children that are being detained, somehow these children are still not free. Trying to understand how her protest helped.

Expectations usually leads to disappointment in most cases. Tune into innerstand how we can use expectations for good.
