Longevity is a topic that's received a lot of interest particularly in podcasts. As a physician with an academic background I decided to look into the science behind longevity. I selected articles from leading journals including the nature Journal and an article from Gerontology Association. It's important to know that there's no studies of any significance in testing medications or treatments in humans. All the research has been done in laboratory animals particularly highly inbred mouse with the much shorter lifespan that cannot be applied to what happens in humans. Moreover pills supplements and infusions do not replace daily physical exercise and careful eating. Those two factors impact longevity and current health more than anything else. Take a listen.
