So I was taking a walk the other day. And I thought about death. Now, I’ve long ago made my peace with the reality that one day I won’t be around. To be quite honest, there’s comfort in such a certainty. In today’s uncertain times, having a constant does become necessary for retaining some sense of sanity. But I digress.

In this episode, we explore the relationship between Morality and Mortality, through the examples of NBC's The Good Place and Kendrick Lamar's album "DAMN.". We'll touch on Death Anxiety, Sacred Morality and Secular Moral Philosophy.

Travis Scott's 3rd Album, Astroworld, got me thinking about what it means for an artist to reach this point in their careers. And where do they go from there. Other greats have found a significant shift in their careers by the time their third album rolled out: Kanye with Graduation, Drake with Nothing Was The Same, and Kendrick with To Pimp A Butterfly. I believe Travis finds himself in a similar position: reaching Creative Maturity and a clear path to who he wants to be in this industry.
