Bindu shares her compelling story of personal and leadership development from her arrival in the U.S. in 2008 as a naïve young recent dental school graduate. She describes how she traveled from India to Indianapolis to meet her husband, obtain a master’s degree in public health, become a mother, and ultimately become the director of the periodontics residency program at UofL.  You won’t want to miss this heartfelt and inspiring tale of her journey, and the wisdom that she gained along the way.

Dr. Fran Hardin, Professor at the UofL School of Nursing is conducting research to see identify ways of helping nurses become health advocates.
