The construction drawing as a tool or an instrument in the making of architecture, about the practical mean and its own beauty.

Architect Knut Ramstad is employed as an adjunct professor in the Department of Architectural Design and Management, NTNU. Ramstad has extensive experience in large development projects and is well aware of what students should admire, also seen from the client perspective. Ramstad is responsible for the developing and implementing 3D visualization and simulation for the Tjuvholmen project in Oslo, one of Scandinavia?s largest harbor developments. He has previously been responsible for the 3D application in the development of Telenor Fornebu project. For these projects, he has developed expertise and strategies for 3D modeling, visualization and simulation in all project phases, from programming through zoning, site plan, schematic design, detail projects and tendering phases, construction, marketing, sales processes, management, operation and maintenance. He has also worked as designing architect and / or 3D-architect in other major projects, including Olympic arenas in Lillehammer, Oslo Main Airport, Trøndelag Teater and Danmarks Radio.

We develop structural concepts together with architects and follow projects through all stages. Our emphasis is to create exciting architecture and stunning engineering structures by a creative design approach, like for the New Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

A native of New York City where he received a bachelor of architecture degree from The Cooper Union, Randall received his graduate degree in design from Harvard University in 1977. His professional experiences include employment in the architectural offices of Peter Eisenman, Michael Graves and Kenneth Frampton.

He joined the faculty at Syracuse University in 1977. Since then, he has taught at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate programs and has organized foreign study programs to Austria, Italy, Great Britain, and Russia. In practice as Randall Korman, Architect since 1975, his work includes several commercial, institutional and residential projects. He received his N.C.A.R.B. certification in 1977.

EM2N with Mathias Müller (*1966) and Daniel Niggli (*1970) has 60 collaborators working on construction and competition projects in Switzerland and abroad. In addition to a number of awards including ‘bestarchitects’, ‘Umsicht-Regards-Sguardi’, the ‘Auszeichnung Guter Bauten’ from the City of Zurich, the Canton of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft, they received the ‘Swiss Art Awards’ in Architecture. Mathias Müller and Daniel Niggli were visiting professors at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, as well as in Zurich. Daniel Niggli is a member of the construction commitees in Berlin and Zurich
