  • #7 The Military Social Media Guru - Jenny Hale
Jenny Hale is a social media mentor for the US military.
Another great interview where Quin Amorim and Jenny Hale talk about
Jenny started her career working with the military community and over time she realized she wanted to help more.
Jenny lived in the barracks, she rappelled down towers, and even took pictures inside the gas chamber!
So much that after college and being a photojournalist, Jenny attempted to enlist, more than once!
But unfortunately, due to some childhood medical issues, that would prevent her physically to do what she needed and wanted to do, Jenny was not accepted.
But, since Jenny fell in love with the military and found her purpose, she was not going to give up that easy.
She couldn’t walk away, she had a purpose, so she had to work with the military and makes sure its more than a 24-hour job.
Now she pivoted and found a way to do what she wants, around who she wants.
This is such a great interview with Jenny Hale, that I recommend listening, rather than just reading the show notes.
Jenny Works with various military spouse/veteran entrepreneurs to reach social media and marketing goals.
Jenny Hale offers coaching, social media management, content creation, and public relations services to the military community entrepreneur and specializes in serving businesses with military-focused products/services.
Studying online algorithms, like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Jenny knows what kind of behavior these algorithms are favoring and exactly how to engage with them. If you want to know more and need a hand with your marketing, please see below Jenny’s social media presence:

  • #5 The Amazing Rachel Gilmore. From Top To Bottom And Back To Success
Quin interviews Rachel Gilmore for the Fail Fast Podcast, a story of strength and determination to achieve success.
Please listen to the Fail Fast Podcast and leave us a nice review 🙂
The below is the transcript of the conversation between Quin and Rachel

Quin Amorim: Okay everyone, welcome to the Fail Fast podcast. Today we have a special guest from North Carolina, she’s a freedom coach, an author, a mother and with us today we have Rachel Gilmore. How are you, Rachel?
Rachel Gilmore: I’m wonderful, thank you, thank you so much for having me here today.

Quin Amorim: Rachel being a  coach, mother, speaker all of these.
    How do you have time?

Rachel:  That’s a really good question people ask me that all the time.
I think it’s about being very intentional about where you spend your time. That’s the biggest thing, because we all have time for the thing that we love, and we enjoy, right?
    Quin Amorim: That’s true, yes.
Rachel Gilmore: They make time yeah so, I think time is something that a lot of people use as an excuse.
Quin Amorim: So, Rachel why don’t you tell us what is, what’s a freedom coach?
Rachel Gilmore: So, for me a freedom coach is I work with clients who are primarily entrepreneurs or small business owners. People who are here to serve humanity at a greater capacity, they are not here to be average they are here to be extraordinary and so many of them decided to become entrepreneurs or to become business owners because they have like this internal drive. And so that internal drive is like motivating force behind them right, but so many of them are so caught up in the doing that they lose sight of themselves.
And so, they get burned out they get exhausted they start having health problems or their relationships aren’t great and so they come to me and they are like they are at this place in their life where some things falling apart and somethings not right, and what I do is I help them discover the truth of who they are.
Like who they really are helping to get clarity on themselves, and so that they can be authentic, and they can be vulnerable, and they can show up from this place of freedom to express themselves to truly authentically be themselves and when you do that you show up in the world as your most authentic self you not only give other people permission to be there most authentic self.
But you no longer care like you’re not motivated by the fears that once motivated you, motivated by like your highest purpose you’re motivated by something far greater and that’s freedom.
You know and, in that places, when you’re in alignment when you’re operating from your own heart space from your authentic space then I believe that when you’re in alignment everything else opening up. Your relationships will improve, your business will improve, you’ll have more clients you’ll have all the things that you’re looking for and then you have more freedom to have more time freedom to travel to explore to have adventures to do all the things that you love.
So it’s coming back to knowing yourself it’s kind of the beginning of having total freedom.

Quin Amorim: Very good. And talking about the having the time for travel I notice that you don’t stop your everywhere is that right?

Rachel Gilmore: Yes, so I caught this ah travel bug if you will, and I’ve always loved traveling
I’ve done a lot of traveling within the United States I got west every chance that I get and I love to explore and see new places and recently I spent five weeks in south-east Asia exploring through Thailand’s and Indonesia and it was the most life-changing experience I’ve ever experienced.
I’ve been working personal development and self-help and all of these things for so many years I mean really like since I was nineteen so for the last almost twenty years I’ve been working on this.

  • Interview with Matthew Ankerstein Founder of Bee Influenced #3
Matthew Ankerstein a young entrepreneur with BBA from the University of Alberta
Matthew is the founder of Bee Influenced podcast, a weekly show where he interviews entrepreneurs.
Below is a machine written transcript, while it’s getting transcribed by a pro… (Don’t take the bellow text too seriously)

Ok everybody, welcome to The Fail Fast Podcast.
Today with us, we have a young entrepreneur from Edmonton. He is a podcaster himself, he is a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He currently works in marketing in… Like I said Edmonton, Alberta. We have Matthew Ankerstein with us today.
    Matthew, how are you?

    Matthew: Good, man.
How are you doing? Thanks for inviting me over [crosstalk 00:30]

Quin: Very good. It’s a pleasure having you.
Thank you so much for finding the time to come here today.

Very good. So, Matthew, today, of course, we’re not here to talk about any successes, so…

    Matthew: Ok, lol

Quin: Of course if it comes up we can, oh yeah, we’ll follow along.
But, do you have – of course, everybody has failed and not everybody loves, not everybody loves failing, let’s put it that way –
but do you have a failure do you want to share with us, something that was a point in your life that you felt was not so good?

Matthew: Yeah. I mean, like, I don’t always look…like the way I look at failure is really different than what I used to look at before I really went through [inaudible 01:29] program.
The way I used to look at it was…and I still…maybe I actually…now I think that I really looked at it the same way.
I look at it through – it’s an experience and that failure is actually a good thing in a lot of ways. I think that if you don’t have failures and you’re not really trying anything new then you’re not even moving yourself forward.
So, when I recall the past year of my life, when regards…I’d just graduated from school back in May last year 2017. I worked every Summer see out school for four years, did construction jobs, operated heavy equipment, did landscaping. A bunch of different things to really afford the luxury to be able to go through school for four years and not have to take on student debt and stuff like that.
As long as a major win, but as soon after I graduated out of college, out of the need for a BBA, I went into a job doing door-to-door sales actually. It’s for an alarm securities company…I’m actually…I’m not going to name the names or [inaudible 02:27] to protect the identities and stuff.
Just going through my experience I really wanted to become a really good, high-performance individual. I really wanted to build out my sales career in a lot of ways, and I went out within a week – actually after I graduated, I graduated on the Friday of May 5th, I think [inaudible 02:51] last year, and I wanted to go job interview the day before I graduated, got it, and then I got shipped out through this guy that’s actually did door-to-door sales on the Monday without no training or anything like that.
And, what I really learned from that experience, in short, was that…I’m [inaudible 03:10]…idea that when I look back I would say I honestly…[inaudible 03:14] I did door-to-door for about two months – it was a little under two months but a large part of the reason why I had this job was because I wasn’t making enough sales for myself to keep going at the end of the day, just being a recent graduate about four years throughout school.
Money was a little bit tight at time, but at the end of the day it didn’t work out, the sales career didn’t work out with doing door-to-door. But,

  • Maxed Two Credit Cards Before The Wedding On a Real Estate Training Course | E.p #2
If you are an entrepreneur looking to hire a business coach, don’t miss this episode!
Today I had a great chat with Tom Sylvester a computer Scientist from Rochester, New York
Not only Tom is a very successful businessman, owning and running several businesses with his wife Ariana, he his also an amazing person, and very easy to talk to.
I hope you enjoy listening to Tom as much as I did.
Here is an amazing Fail Fast explanation by Tom:
Given that we’re on the other fail fast podcast, failure is a part of the journey and you’re going to fail probably more times than you think.
The reason I love the name of this podcast, is because failures are only a problem when they happen infrequently and when you try to avoid failure what tends to happen is everything stacks up and it ends up becoming a big failure that drags you apart.
What you want to do instead is, you want to focus on having small failures all the time, so if we go back to that GPS analogy, not checking in and then you check in 2 hours later and you realize you missed a turn, now you have to do this huge correction. But if you were checking in every 5 minutes, when you realize you missed a turn, now its only a small correction.
    Quin Amorim And Tom Sylvester:
An interview with the entrepreneur and lifestyle builder Tom Sylvester.
Tom helps entrepreneurial leaders build more PROFITABLE businesses.
Today he explains how he dipped int the wedding savings to buy a course and what happened next…
Tom and his wife Ariana also have an amazing podcast and youtube channel, you can find them at:
