Quarterback Jalen Hurts spent most of the season on the bench watching and cheering on the guy who took his starting spot in January 2018. But there is a lesson in all of this. In Episode 17, Julian uses this game and Hurts performance as an example of showing how you should always be ready for your moment.

There have been two significant events surrounding 9-year-old Jeremiah Harvey who was at his local corner store with his mom and sister, as well as D’Arreion Toles who was returning to his apartment building from work. Both situations left people across the nation in an uproar. In Episode 13, Julian gives his thoughts on how both events hit close to home.

It can be very easy for students to get caught up in today and not think about tomorrow. But on any given day, life can throw them a curveball. How will they react? Will they lose sight of their overall goals? Will they fold under pressure? In Episode 12, Julian gives one of his signature keynotes in a workshop format. Ultimately, students were given five tips to remember as they progress on this journey of life.

The 4th quarter of the year is upon us, and it can be filled with happiness or stress. There are the holidays, and many people will be traveling to see family. When you think about it, this time can be both happy and stressful. In Episode 11, listen in as Julian is working out the kinks of a new workshop he is developing.
