Fairtrade is helping to challenge the gender gap, enabling women to stake their claim and succeed in their own terms. In early 2020, the International Labour Organisation estimated that 160 million children of which are 63 million girls and 97 million boys – were involved in child labour, accounting for almost 1 in 10 children worldwide. Child labour is child abuse and is just plain wrong. Every child deserves to learn, play, be happy and feel safe. Together, we must end child labour.
