Every day matters more than we think. Time slips by quietly, and it is easy to fill it with things that do not last. But Scripture reminds us that how we use our time shapes our lives. The question is not how busy we are, but whether we are living wisely.

Ephesians 5:15-17 calls us to make the most of every moment. Wisdom means focusing on what matters most, staying alert instead of drifting, remembering how short life is, and guarding our hearts from what pulls us away from God. When we align our time with His priorities, we gain a life that lasts.

They saw the empty tomb… and still went back to fishing. In John 21, the disciples return to what was familiar, but all they find are empty nets. It’s a reminder that you can have experience, skill, and history with Jesus and still feel empty when you drift from Him.

Going back to your “boat” leads to emptiness, but Jesus meets us there with grace and restoration. From empty nets to overflowing provision, John 21 shows that life apart from Jesus lacks purpose, but life with Him is full. The same Jesus who rose from the grave is still calling us back and ready to fill what feels empty.

Everyone loves a comeback story, but the resurrection of Jesus is the greatest one ever told. In John 20, we meet Mary Magdalene standing outside the empty tomb in deep grief, thinking it’s over. But in a moment, everything changes. Because of Jesus, no situation is final, and no life is beyond a comeback.

Mary’s story shows us what’s possible through the resurrection, a comeback from hopelessness to joy, from failure to freedom, and from spiritual emptiness to new life. This message invites you to see that Jesus’ comeback makes yours possible and to take your next step toward Him this Easter.

What does faith look like when it is fully alive? It looks like friends who do whatever it takes to bring someone to Jesus. Faith that pleases God isn’t passive. It moves in love, meets real needs, and carries people to the only One who can truly heal.

In Mark 2, Jesus reveals His authority to both forgive and heal, showing that true faith responds in action. When we encounter brokenness, we have a choice: ignore it, feel sorry, or step in. Faith that pleases God moves outward in love, and love carries people to Jesus.

In the book of Acts, bold faith marked the early church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, ordinary people spoke the truth about Jesus, chose obedience over approval, and kept going even when facing pressure or suffering.

Bold faith isn’t a personality trait—it’s the Spirit of God working through people who trust Him.

What pleases God is not perfect performance, but a life that trusts Him enough to follow, obey, and endure—even when the outcome isn't visible.

In Hebrews 11, we see that faith is the one thing that pleases God. Biblical faith trusts God's reality over what we can see, chooses obedience over compromise, and endures through uncertainty. From Abraham to Moses and those who followed, their lives show us what it means to trust God with the future and live in a way that pleases Him.

What if the tabernacle wasn’t just an ancient tent—but a picture of God’s heart? From the beginning, God has been making a way to dwell with His people. Every part of the tabernacle tells the story of a holy God removing barriers so we can live in His presence.

Drifting doesn’t happen overnight. It begins the moment we take our eyes off the Lord. In Exodus 32, God’s people didn’t fully replace Him, they supplemented Him. And that’s how idolatry often works today. When we stop intentionally seeking God, we slowly become satisfied with lesser substitutes.

From the golden calf to modern "American idols" like money, image, success, relationships, and escape, anything can become a surrogate god. Through Moses' intercession and God's mercy in Exodus 33–34, we're reminded that repentance, truth, and the Holy Spirit bring real freedom. Grace and truth in Jesus break the power of idols and restore what sin has distorted.

The Ten Commandments reveal how loving God and loving others are inseparable. The tabernacle shows that God refuses to choose between holiness and presence. The Sabbath declares that life with God is sustained by grace, not striving.

God doesn’t just rescue us from slavery, He shows us how to live free, draws near to dwell with us, and invites us to rest. In Exodus 20–31, we see a holy God forming a people for Himself. The Law, the Tabernacle, and the Sabbath all point to something greater: Jesus.

Following God doesn’t mean the hard moments disappear; it means they start to shape you. 

In Exodus 15–18, we see how God shapes His people step by step on their spiritual journey. He turns bitterness into trust, trains dependence through daily provision, proves His presence in dry places, fights battles we can’t win on our own, and brings wisdom to bring order and endurance.
