  • Mastermind
Often the new year brings desire for something new. New habits, new behaviors, new friends, and new workout routines all encompass our desire for change. But what if our “new” self doesn’t start with new behaviors, friends or habits? What if it starts with a new mind? Join us this week for our sermon called masterminds; as we say farewell to 2018, and welcome the new year with just a slightly new perspective.

  • A Thrill of Hope: Gift Tag
It's Christmas Sunday! We'll be finishing our advent series A Thrill of Hope. This week we're talking about presents without a name. Our staff and their families will be lighting the last candle of advent and we'll sing by candlelight to close our service. Lots of people are looking for somewhere to worship this Sunday. Who is waiting on you to invite them to celebrate Christmas? We gather for worship at 10:30 am. Because of the holiday, there are NO Community Groups meeting at 9:15 am. But the sanctuary and altars are open for prayer starting at 10:20 am.

  • A Thrill of Hope: Give It Away
Often, we think of hope as something you hold onto. But what if hope is something we are given in order to give it away? What would that look like in our lives? What difference would it make in our world? Sunday, we'll continue our Advent series A Thrill of Hope. Cornerstone Community Group will be lighting the Advent candle this week.

  • A Thrill of Hope: The Way of Hope
Ever been on a narrow, curvy, two lane mountain road where your car hugged the mountain on one side and there was a steep drop off into the abyss on the other? John said we should prepare a straight path for what God wants to do in our lives at Christmas. But how do you do that? Sunday, we'll continue our Advent series A Thrill of Hope. Our children will be lighting the Advent candle this week.

  • A Thrill of Hope: The Anticipation of Hope
Everyone needs hope, especially in a world where there is so little. Do you need to find hope? Do you know someone who's about to give in to despair? Then invite them to worship with us this Christmas season. This is the first week of Advent, the time when we prepare our hearts to celebrate Jesus first coming and look forward to His second coming. It's a time to embrace the hope we have in him. Sunday, our children will remind us about the meaning of Christmas and Pastor Bryan will show us how Jesus inspires us to anticipate hope in our lives.

  • Faith Promise: Absent Yet Present
Faith Promise is a way of giving to missions and world evangelism. Rather than waiting to respond to individual appeals as they come along, believers ask the Lord how much they should give to missions over the next year. They then commit to that annual total above and beyond their tithes and offerings as a "Faith Promise." Faith Promise thus makes missions giving strategic and enables us to be more responsive to the call to reach the world with the gospel. This Sunday, Dr. Robert Broadbooks, Regional Director for the Church of the Nazarene in USA/Canada, will be speaking and inspiring us to trust God to support missions.

  • Be Our Guest: Playing Favorites
Jesus treated everyone the same -- whether they were rich or poor, of good reputation or ill repute, able bodied or disabled, a citizen or a refugee. Do you? We tend to lend towards treating others with preference. But in the Kingdom, we all are the same. How do we learn to treat others with the same love and deference -- maybe especially those we tend to judge as unworthy? Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 am as we continue our sermon series BE OUR GUEST! We will be sharing together in communion at the end of service. And don't forget that the sanctuary and altars are open for prayer starting at 10:20 am.

  • Be Our Guest: The Invitation
Jesus invited everyone to be a part of the Kingdom He was ushering into the world. But did He mean everyone? What does it look like to invite others into the Kingdom of God? Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 am as we continue our sermon series BE OUR GUEST!

  • Be Our Guest: Ms. Congeniality
"Be our guest, be our guest, put our service to the test!" was sung by a candlestick, a clock, a teapot, and all sorts of household objects in Beauty and the Beast. But the Bible says that it should be our song as followers of Jesus. After all, Jesus said he came to serve, not to be served. The gospel is all about an invitation to be God's guest. How do we live out a life of invitation? Join us Sunday as we worship at 10:30 am.
