Paul's emphasis on righteous living within the home extends to the relationship between children and their parents and also parents with their children. Paul tells the Ephesians that children are to both obey and honor, while parents and fathers specifically are to encourage their children in the Lord. Ephesians 6:1-4

Paul has discussed how to live righteously in the church, in the home, and now we shows the Ephesians how to live righteously in the home. Paul shows that Christ is the standard of marriage, the sustainer of marriage, and the purpose of marriage. Ephesians 5:22-33.

As we continue in our series going through Ephesians, Paul shows how Christians are supposed to live in the context of the world. How do Christians "be in the world but not of the world" in a practical way? Ephesians 5:7-21.

We continue our series in Ephesians: A Christian Life by looking at how the body of the church is to fit together with its Head - Jesus Christ. As we mature as believers, we become more unified through the Gospel thus fulfilling our purpose of loving one another. Ephesians 4:7-16

Returning to the book of Ephesians, we find ourselves in chapter 4. Here, Paul is pleading with the Ephesians church to walk worthy of their calling and remain united. This unity does not come easily, it requires hard work and effort. Ephesians 4:1-6

 In order to accomplish our purpose of unconditional worship, unconditional love, and unconditional outreach we must be dedicated to being a doctrine church, a family church, and a neighborhood church. 

On this joyous morning, we look through a broader narrative of the Bible showing how Jesus came at the right time to fulfill God's promises and bring redemption. The last sermon in our Christmas Perspectives leaves us with a question: What is our perspective of Christmas? Galatians 4:3-7
