Fairmount Friends Church

Every Christian has a unique spiritual gift designed by God to be used for His glory and the growth of the church, and it is essential that we identify and utilize these gifts in love and unity. Pastor Dwight Elliott is our guest speaker.

I’ll rescue you. I’ll take care of you. I’ll come to your level. And I will sustain you.

It’s the story of Hosea 11.

It’s the story of Matthew 2.

It is the story of Christmas.

Making room for what matters most, perhaps we put this into action this Christmas season. Let's take the ordinary and invite Jesus to make it extraordinary!

Pastor Anthony Harris speaks.

What areas are you needing to experience the peace of God?

- Inner life: Your Soul, conscience. Heart, emotions. Mind, thinking

- Relationships: Marriage, children/ grandchildren, co-workers, neighbor, friend

- Relationship with Jesus: Turning from sin and experiencing forgiveness. Surrendering all of life to Him.

Jesus says things like, you cannot serve both God and money. You cannot serve both. Why would he put money on the same scale as himself? Money will say things to you like, let me open doors for you. Let me make a way for you. Let me show “you where your value and your significance really is." Money will say things to you that only God is supposed to provide for you.

We were designed to experience creation, to know the Creator, to celebrate the  wonderful things He has done. Not just complain about this life. In fact, the Bible tells us in Psalm 9:1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

God's call is often counter-intuitive. If you wonder, Lord, why did You call me to that ministry, or to that place, or to that group, or in this situation, just know that, sometimes God calls you to do something and has a little smile on His face when He does it.

The Jews had done it a certain way.. because it is the way they had always done it. And they put their hope in that. You ever put your hope in something, only to be let down that it is not exactly the whole kit 'n kaboodle?

There have been some revolutionary, great, awesome, history-shaping ideas that have shaped America.

And guess what? They come from the same source, the BIBLE!

The Bible has been the wellspring of American Liberty. And will continue to be the Source of our freedoms.

If you are a lover of Liberty, then you are probably a lover of the Lord. Because when Jesus rolls up into a place He sets it free.

Pastor Brock Meyer continues our study on the book of Romans. Chapter 10 comes after chapter 9...what???
