Time—it’s something we all have, but not all of us use it wisely. Some people seem to accomplish so much in a short period, while others struggle for years without real progress. Why? What makes the difference?
In this episode , we take a deep dive into how to use your time effectively and the hidden forces that often work against us. We ask the tough questions that help us reflect on our daily choices:
•Are you making the most of your time, or is it slipping away?
•Do you feel like you’re on the right path toward your God-given purpose?
•Have you allowed distractions, wrong relationships, or past failures to hold you back?
•Do you understand the season you’re in, or are you struggling because you’ve misjudged God’s timing?
Why Do We Waste Time?
Before we can truly master time, we must understand the forces that work against us. Wasting time isn’t always about laziness; sometimes, it’s the unseen battles we’re fighting. In our last episode, we uncovered several reasons why people waste time, and in this episode, we continue that conversation with solutions on how to break free.
Here are some of the major reasons why people lose time:
1. Demonic Attacks
Yes, there are spiritual forces that can keep people trapped in cycles of delay, frustration, and stagnation. The enemy knows that if you don’t manage time well, you will not fulfill your purpose. That’s why some people always feel like they’re making efforts but never truly moving forward.
2. Wrong Friends
Who surrounds you? The people you spend the most time with will either push you forward or pull you back. The Bible warns us about being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), and that doesn’t just apply to marriage—it applies to friendships, business partnerships, and mentorship. If you surround yourself with time wasters, you’ll find yourself wasting time too.
3. Distractions
Social media, entertainment, endless scrolling, procrastination—these are all distractions that steal time. Many people want to be productive but keep getting pulled into distractions. The question is: Do you control your time, or do distractions control you?
4. Stagnation in Past Victories or Failures
Some people are stuck in past successes, reliving their “glory days” without growing into new opportunities. Others are trapped by their past failures, too afraid
