Janice Lombardo has 24 years of experience dealing with the oft times overwhelming array of considerations surrounding End of Life. A published author and public speaker, she is passionate about normalizing and educating how we can embrace dying and death. She is also a WillowEOL Educator®, providing coursework, guidance and direction to those curious, proactive souls and family members that choose it is best to proactively prepare.
Janice is a medical advocate and seasoned primary caregiver that became a 'Certified End of Life Doula' to provide heart-centered, holistic, non-medical, compassionate support, to both seriously and chronically ill individuals and their loved ones.
As of March 1, 2024, Janice became an agent for Thanacare (www.thanacare.com). This secure, on-line platform is used to create an individual’s Directive Plans and Final Wishes.
Janice’s mantra is "You plan for birth, now let’s plan for all of life, too."
Possessing the skills to assist spouses and adult children who find themselves as primary caregivers, she understands the difficulties faced while navigating the world of caring for a seriously ill loved one. Ms. Lombardo will help you to be respectful, and not neglectful of your own personal circumstances. She is also well accustomed to giving nourishing support to single adults that proactively plan their End of Life wishes.
Empowering you and your loved ones with requisite knowledge, compassion, insight and resources to make informed end-of-life decisions for yourself and your loved ones, she will coach, mentor, mediate, facilitate, advocate, and educate. When necessary, providing a strong bridge between hospice and palliative care. Not only are there many difficult conversations involved when creating Directive Plans and Final Wishes documents to prepare as transitions occur, trust that only knowledge and experience can best provide you the time needed to alleviate stress, heartbreak and chaos that inevitably occurs as a loved one’s life begins to decline.
