We're kicking off Pride Month with an episode that's both heartwarming and eye-opening. Join me as we dive into the complex love/hate relationship between the queer community and faith communities. While many churches are beacons of love and acceptance, some still struggle with welcoming everyone, leading to feelings of alienation and, tragically, even affecting the lives of young people.
To unravel this complex dynamic, I'm sitting down with three incredible guests: Stan, Ava, and Shawnte. Together, we'll explore why this stigma exists and how we can move past it to build bridges of understanding and acceptance. How do we create a church environment where every person is met with love and warmth?
Tune in for an enlightening conversation filled with personal stories, heartfelt insights, and actionable steps towards showing our queer community the boundless love the church can offer. Let's come together to make faith a space where everyone feels at home. Join us on this journey of love, acceptance, and unity. ๐ง๐
