The gifts of wisdom and knowledge are essential spiritual gifts for the church today. The word of wisdom is a supernatural ability to give wise advice for specific situations. The word of knowledge reveals information that could only come from God. These gifts aren't meant to elevate individuals but to build up the church and point others to Jesus.

Spiritual gifts are transformational abilities given to every believer for the common good, not for personal gain. Unlike our culture that values self-made success, spiritual gifts remind us that we receive them because of God's goodness, not our merit.
