Normally, when I release a song, I’ll pick one solid version and, if the Spirit nudges, maybe mix it in a different genre so there are two flavors for people to connect with. Then decide which one hits best and release that. That’s my usual rhythm.
But this time? God had other plans.
When I tried generating Tetelestai in the Suno desktop app, the whole thing glitched. I hit “create” a few times, nothing seemed to happen, and I thought I had nothing. Turns out the songs were generating — I just couldn’t see them. By the time I figured it out (and tried again on the phone app), I had way more versions than I planned. I was kind of excited to see what it came up with. One of the earliest versions, a gospel one, really hit home. I listened to the other genres; it was another ballgame altogether.
As I listened, I was strongly convincted that I could not release these. The early drafts mispronounced the word Tetelestai (“It is finished”), which didn’t sit right. This word is a spiritual nuke Jesus dropped from the cross — it carries too much weight to be mangled. So I prayed. I asked God: “If this is from You, could You let the next two versions pronounce it correctly? Make it clear that this is the anthem You want to carry forward.”
And He answered. Immediately. The next versions came out with the word spoken exactly as it should be — and with a power that made my jaw drop. That was my confirmation: this wasn’t just another experiment. This was a weapon.
And then God pulled His signature move. I realized later that I’ve always given offerings in multiples of three — one for the Father, one for the Son, one for the Holy Spirit. And here He handed me not the two versions I planned, but three finished versions of the same song. Each unique, each powerful, each stamped with Trinity symmetry. Coincidence? Please. God doesn’t do coincidence. This was divine math with holy snark baked in.
So instead of trimming down, I’m releasing all three. Why? Because each one carries a different kind of punch. Maybe you’ll connect most with the reflective one, maybe with the gospel anthem, maybe with the stomping battle cry. My prayer is that one of these versions will resonate with you right when you need it — reminding you that the debt is paid, the sentence is served, and the victory is secure.
Because when Jesus cried Tetelestai, hell’s knees buckled.
I was aiming for two versions, but God multiplied it to three. Heaven’s playlist just went Trinitarian, and the devil doesn’t get a veto.
