Christ is calling out his church at Ephesus–both leaders and members–because the love that was poured out into their hearts by the indwelling Spirit (Romans 5:5) is no longer the essential feature of their ministry and conduct.
The Public message from Christ: You are ministering and enduring for my name’s sake, but I have something against you.
