This is the continuation of the sermon from last week. We are looking at Jesus as our "true friend" and the "friendship"/ love that is commanded among the saints.

Jesus shows us true friendship by laying down his life for sinners inorder to make us

Prayer is a great priviledge. We should use that priviledge for things that we know are going to last, kingdom matters. We should guard against being preoccupied with matters that we know are not going to last, earthly matters.

John 15:6-8

The branches connected to the vine under the watchful care of the vinedresser. This beautiful picture aptly describes the believer's llife.

As a note, I will often confuse names, but on this sermon there is a long stretch where I am speaking of the vine, Jesus, when I should be speaking of the branch, the believer. Please be aware of this and is something seems somewhat out of life keep listening. Sorry for the mistake.

Peace is hard to find. Peace is often sought in the abundance the good and the privation of the bad. The peace that we provide for ourselves will never last. But peace in Jesus Christ is real and lasting peace.
