This week, I interview a normal guy with a not-so-normal story. Sherman O'Bryan joins the podcast to share the difficult moments of his life and how an out-of-body experience gave him renewed faith. Do people really have Near Death Experiences (NDEs)? It may be more common than we think. I found our conversation fascinating.
And for this episode's "Sign of Hope" segment, I am sharing one of the many signs that I personally experienced after the loss of my child. You can read all about the signs I received and hear more about my difficult journey out of the darkness by getting my book, When the Cardinal Calls, on Amazon.
Please be sure to share the podcast with your family and friends to help us grow the show! And you can find me on Twitter and Instagram @TimMaceyko, on Facebook at Faith Beyond with Tim Maceyko, and at FathBeyond.org

In this episode, I talk to Olivia Baer about her struggles growing up with mental health issues. We also discuss the Top 10 Things People Can Do for Mental Health, and I share another Sign of Hope segment.
Olivia was overweight, had a speech impediment, and had a lot difficulty in school. She realized she was having abnormal mental issues as she approached her teenage years. But the school bullying made her condition worse, resulting in her senior year being one of the worst years of her life.
Listen in to hear this young lady's incredible story about losing weight, learning to love exercise, and working to overcome her issues. Things still aren't easy for Olivia, but she is now in her mid-twenties, married, and working towards having her first child. Yet, she took the time to join us in order to share important information about how mental health is something we should all take more seriously.

I am kicking off the new series with a solo show in which I discuss the pain of being alone when extreme adversity hits. You may have support early on, but eventually you will find yourself alone and that is when things may get the most difficult. On the show, I get brutally honest about how I almost didn't go on after losing my child. A story straight out of my Child Loss 101 book called, "You Are Not Alone" is featured, and a power ballad, "Mountains in Your Way" by Bex adds to this week's dramatic episode. And we finish up with a "Sign of Hope" story to round things out.
If you have ever felt alone, you do not want to skip this show.

RELAUNCH SPECIAL: In this updated Faith Beyond Podcast, I revisit a conversation I had with an amazing lady, Sue Bump. The Good Grandma Gone Bad comedian sat at my kitchen table one day to talk about having faith despite facing cancer, how your family is everything, and that we all need to make sure we are having fun while we can.
This interview will cause you to ponder life and think about how you are living it. It's a short episode, but it's packed full of gems. I am sad to say that this interview was Sue's last as her cancer overtook her later the year we did this show, but her words of wisdom will live on forever.
In this episode, Sue shares:
