Faith Bible Fellowship Church of York

God the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ into this world to free His people from the enslaving power of sin, so that through the power of His Spirit they, then would live in obedience to Him.

Christian, you are no longer condemned for your sin or enslaved to sin; instead, you have been set free from sin’s power by the Holy Spirit.

Although indwelling sin still wins some battles against us and even leaves us feeling wretched at times, through Jesus Christ we will one day be completely delivered from sin.

Although sin no longer reigns over us as Christians, it still dwells within us, and thus there will be a spiritual war against sin within us.

The problem is not the law, since the law is holy, and righteous, and good; instead, the problem is sin.

Released from the law. Growth in righteousness.

You’ve been saved to serve.

Our old self has been crucified with Christ. Now we have been set free and made alive to God, to be used by God.

Those united to Jesus Christ are now dead to sin, walk in newness of life, and will one day be resurrected like Jesus Christ.

All the blessings of salvation that God gives to His children come by His grace and through Jesus Christ.
