Jeremiah 31:31-34.

What is the New Covenant that comes?

How does God deal with our sin?

God is a God who makes covenant with His people. God's answer to our sin is to enter into a covenantal relationship with His people.

What is a covenant?

God is holy. How does a holy God deal with our sin?

Pastor Ralph Soper is our guest speaker for today.

Alex Kocman brings the Word of God to us.

We need to ask wisdom from God and not doubt.

Bible teaches us to count it all joy when we go through trials of various kinds. The Christian will go through trials but God is strengthening our faith and working to conform us to the image of Christ.

We focus on the key verses of God's character: Exodus 34:6-7 “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty,"

God's steadfast love is His unrelenting love that He keeps in covenant faithfulness to His people even when we sin.

In Exodus 33, we see the necessity of God's presence. We see His glory and majesty and what it means when He is with His people. The ultimate hope is to see God's presence and experience His glory.

When Moses is up on Mt. Sinai, Aaron and the people make a golden calf and worship it. This teaches us a number of things about idolatry. The only cure for sin is to have a mediator step forward and make atonement.
