Faith Bible Fellowship Church of York

How do we respond when we face opposition to the Christian faith and beliefs? We must obey God rather than man. But we must also remember that God is sovereign over all things. The events of opposition to the faith are not an accident but can and will serve as a part of God's plan.

It can be hard to share the faith with someone. But the Lord calls us to boldness. In this sermon, we look at two reason we can be bold in evangelism: (1) God's Word spreads and is effective even when their is opposition; (2) Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. If we really believe that people can only be saved in Jesus Christ, we should be delighted to share this wonderful announcement of good news with them.

In Acts 3, Peter preaches the gospel and calls his audience to repent. We need to repent before the Lord and in evangelism we call people to repent because of how great Jesus Christ is.
