God speaks to some people today as He did to those in the past. If we seek God, we will find Him. God uses 3symbolism to emphasize a 3message to people. God is always in #control; He is merciful and is a #good God. He loves us but we don't always respond the same way back to Him. When we choose sin, we will bring on #consequences to ourselves. But when we choose #repentance, God often (historically) relents the judgement we were due to receive. There are #blessings and #rewards God gives to those who #obey Him. Obedience shows #love to God. When people do bad things to us or speak hate towards us; both the Old Testament and the New Testament tell us to "repay #evil with #good"

This chapter discusses: Has God been #calling us? What has our #response been? Do we have a "heart of stone" or one that is soft and #receptive to God's Holy #Spirit? Do we have spiritual #discernment when it comes to #leaders? Do we #trust in our military (man) or #God? What is the difference between "the #fear of God is the beginning of #wisdom" and those who "fear are not made perfect in #love"? Is it good to "follow your heart"? God heals when we we seek Him.
