This unique story is filled with some incredible lessons. Peter as a leader amongst the disciples. Choosing to fully follow the Lord and leave the old life behind. We hear testimony from one of the staff messages who knew what it was like to be 1 foot in 1 foot out and then had to make the decision to either be all in or all out and she chose to be all in! The fruit from that decision has been earthshaking for her and those who know her. Then the unique story of Peter catching a fish with the coin in its mouth out of obedience to the Lord in order to pay the temple tax. Pastor Josiah brings out some direct insight from these stories and how it should apply to our decision to fully follow Jesus well.

Pastor Josiah takes us into the story of Joseph. Joseph had favor everywhere he went which came from a long line of stewarding intimacy. Potiphar recognized the favor of the Lord on Josephs life and placed a demand on it which blessed his home as well. Then the enemy tried to mess it all up through Potiphar’s wife and her shenanigans. However, Joseph didn’t let it get to him. He found a way out. He found a way to maintain his integrity and keep the favor of God on his life. After Jesus gets down the mountain after the transfiguration, immediately he’s met with religious leaders who are arguing with the disciples at the foot of the mountain. A father had brought his son to be delivered from demonic possession by the disciples but they weren’t successful. Jesus capitalizes on this teaching moment and invests some viable truths to His disciples and also restores the boy back to health. It’s so needed for fathers to pour into the next generation as we see this father doing. Getting his son to Jesus forever changed this families future, who are you standing in the gap for?

Still following the life of Peter with his high and low moments, he merits an invitation to the mountain of transfiguration with a couple other disciples. This was a monumental moment for Jesus and for those who witnessed what happened! Was this a moment just for Jesus or an invitation for us to live likewise? Pastor Josiah breaks it down and shows how this moment wasn’t just for Jesus but to be an example for all of us to follow. We too are invited up the glorious mountain.

Pastor Josiah & Ashley share some incredible insight into their marriage, focusing on how our intimacy with the Lord trickles into every other relationship we have. Especially our marriage. When we’re learning to be close to the Lord and have an incredible depth of relationship there, it no doubt affects every other relationship in our life. We need it this way. It’s supposed to be this way. God designed it to be this way. The best way to invest in your marriage is to actually invest in your relationship with the Lord through intimacy.

Pastor Josiah takes us into concept of multiplication which only happens through intimacy. If it’s true that mankind multiplies when they’re intimate with each other within the confines of a marriage, then spiritually speaking there’s a multiplication that takes place through intimacy with God. Looking into the life of the judge Samson to better understand the consequences of our decisions, much depth concerning what we’re looking at brings forth a strong degree of revelation. 

Peter has some great contrasting moments. One moment he’s knocking it out of the park with great responses and shining decisions, and the next moment he appears to have fallen off the back of the train. We learn through his life that God wastes absolutely nothing. There is never an excuse for sin but there’s also not an excuse to stay down or give up or get stuck. We must be like a righteous man who gets back up again to move forward doing what God has called them to do. Pastor Josiah pulls some incredible truths from the life of Peter and the teachings of Jesus on this subject while encouraging the listening TO NEVER GET STUCK! No matter how far the fall or how loud the crash is, nothing is wasted.

We venture back to Adam & Eve and get a solid understanding of how intimacy was supposed to look from the very beginning. Both between the institution of marriage as well as what it was like for them to walk in unbroken relationship with The Lord before the fall of man. There’s much to uncover in this. Then, venturing into what Jesus has to say about oneness and tying this into what the plan was from the beginning. This is a vital component to walking in a lifestyle of intimacy with God.
