BORN TO PRAISE-4  “Praise With Your Whole Being”

Ps 146:1-2 Praise the LORD! Let my WHOLE BEING praise the LORD! I will praise the LORD with all my life; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live.

It’s not Praising GOD when your your Mind, Emotions, and Body are letting your lips do all the work!

GOD wants your Whole Being to have the experience of praising Him so that you will BE A PRAISE to GOD after your lips are finished praising Him. 

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may (show for the PRAISES) set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Lord, I Praise You Lord With My Mind

• I praise You with this wonderful mind you have given me, that I might process the great truths of Your Word, and have an understanding of You and Your will.

• Jesus, my thoughts focus in on You as I recount the promises of your Word. 

Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…

• My mind is renewing as I focus on Your Word, and it’s transforming my behavior.  And every facet of transformation in me is a praise to You!

• As I praise you focused on your Word, the veil is being removed from my mind and my understanding blooms with the vision of You. 

2Cor. 3:18  So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect Your glory, Lord. And Lord—You are the Spirit—making me more and more like You as I am changed into Your glorious image…

• Lord, the more I praise You the more I see how Brilliant You are, and how wonderfully You handle every situation.  Let Your thinking expand my mind and improve my behavior to be like You!

Lord, I Praise You Lord With My Emotions

• Setting my affections upon You, I rejoice with my whole heart. 

Psalms 43:5  Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I will yet give Him thanks, the salvation of my countenance and my God.

• So Lord, I set my heart to Look Up and give You my worship.  And I will not allow my emotions to be kept in bondage to circumstances. 

• My emotions shall glory in You Jesus.
