    Today I jump into Proverbs 15:19, “ The way of the Sluggard is blocked with thorns but the path of upright is a highway.” What obstacles are blocking your way, what competing thoughts are keeping you from the open highway that leads to God’s abundance for your life. There is so much practical wisdom in this Proverb and self reflection that we can apply to our lives. The 4 Key Takeaways are: 1) if you find yourself relating to the Sluggard, reflect on the opportunities you may have missed, or passages that have been closed, and your role through your thoughts and actions? 2) Think about a time when opportunities and people were places in your path at a time when you were diligent and walking in obedience? 3) The Sluggard blocks it’s own path through habits - physical, mental and spiritual. What habits or thorns may be impeding you? 4) Do you take time to ponder the path you’re on? Is it a path that leads to an open highway or a closed off street?

God wants us to know and receive the magnitude of his spiritual blessings and abundance but we must choose wisely and act with diligence and not a sluggard attitude.
